Sunday 30 March is Neighbour Day.

Why not mark the day by putting on the kettle and inviting the neighbours around.
If you haven’t caught up with your neighbours for a while, this weekend is a great time to reconnect.
If you have new neighbours it’s a great opportunity to pop around and introduce yourself.
If you feel comfortable, you can exchange phone numbers for use in an emergency and reassure them that help is just a phone call away.
If you have fantastic neighbours, you can share your stories about them at www.neighbourday.org
There is a $200 cash prize for the best story from each state and territory as well as $500 for the national prize winner.

Entries are open until 30 April 2014.

Neighbour Day is held on the last Sunday in March every year and is the perfect day to say thanks for being a great neighbor.
