Police are
advising residents in the Ferny Grove area to be aware of two young clean cut
men with checked shirts and lanyards around their necks have been door-knocking
for donations to cerebral palsy.
Whilst this
information has been provided specifically in relation to the Ferny Grove area,
it is worth noting by local residents in case they also try it in our own area.
Police advise
that one of the males does all the talking and the other doesn’t do or say much
at all. They have been known to ask for
a glass of water as well.
The Cerebral
Palsy League has confirmed that it does not conduct any door to door
fundraising and that in most instances, the safest way of donating to a charity
is via their web page.
